The journal of "System Engineering and Productivity" with the code of 11933 is one of the specialized journals in the field of management and industrial engineering, which is published quarterly by the University of Eyvanekey under the license of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Currently, according to the regulations of scientific publications approved on 2019/04/21, the scientific rank of the journal has been determined in the evaluation of the year 2024 "A" and has been indexed in the DOAJ and Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC). The most important goal of the journal of "System Engineering and Productivity" is to improve the level of knowledge of researchers and also to create a scientific position for the exchange of scientific and specialized information between researchers. This journal aims to publish up-to-date scientific research in all areas of management and industrial engineering with a focus on system engineering, system and energy management, data mining and data management, system thinking and strategic thinking, knowledge management, risk management, network reliability and social networks, intelligent and multi-agent systems, modeling quality management, information system engineering, decision-making system, productivity and performance improvement, sustainable industrial engineering and circular economy, industrial internet of things (IIoT) and smart factories, cobotics and human–machine collaboration and entrepreneurship management; therefore, the editor and members of the editorial board of the journal invite all researchers at various academic and industrial levels to submit their creative and innovative ideas as well as new research results in the aforementioned scientific fields to this journal for publication.

This journal exclusively publishes original research that has not been previously published nor is currently under consideration by any other journal. Submissions must present novel scientific findings; therefore, manuscripts based on limited or insufficient data will not be accepted. The peer-review process involves a rigorous two-stage evaluation: an initial screening by the Editorial Board, followed by a thorough peer review conducted by qualified subject-matter experts. Manuscripts must strictly adhere to the journal’s Author Guidelines; otherwise, they will be excluded from the review process. The journal reserves the right to accept, reject, or request modifications to any manuscript, ensuring full compliance with publication ethics.

 

It is worth noting that articles submitted for evaluation and publication must have the following characteristics:

  • Written by studying, researching, and drawing conclusions from well-defined technical and scientific works
  • Presenting new and innovative results by examining related topics and proposing new ideas
  • Prepared in various technical, industrial, and research fields

  • The primary language of this journal is Persian. To ensure the quality and visibility of published research, all manuscripts must be accompanied by a comprehensive Extended Abstract in English. To facilitate international discoverability and citation, all English extended abstracts undergo professional review and language editing.
  • Articles that can be published in the journal include research papers.
  • Submitted articles must be innovative and have not been published in any other journal.
  • The Journal of System Engineering and Productivity is an electronic journal.
  • Respected authors must adhere to the journal format when submitting articles in accordance with the sample format uploaded in the authors' guideline section.
  • To combat plagiarism, respected authors must upload reports received from two similarity text finder systems, Irandoc and Samimnoor, when submitting the article.
  • Respected authors must upload the commitment form, the conflict of interest form, and the authors' specifications in addition to uploading the files related to the article.
  • Reviewing of articles is double-blind and the names of respected authors are not known to the reviewers and vice versa.

  • Submission fee and Article Publishing Charge

As an open access journal, the Journal of Systems and Productivity Engineering charges Article Processing Charges (APC) to cover the costs associated with the publication process. These charges include 5,000,000 IRR for the submission fee (for initial review and management of the submission process) and 6,000,000 IRR for the peer review and DOI assignment fee (if the article is accepted for publication). The submission fee is required for all submissions, while the peer review and DOI fee is charged only after acceptance. These fees support the management of the peer review process, professional production of articles, and assignment of DOIs to enhance article accessibility and citability.

The journal is committed to offering a waiver or discount policy for authors from low- or middle-income countries or those in special circumstances.

 

  • Subscription

The Journal of System Engineering and Productivity is published with open access, so there are no subscription fees for the audience.

 

  • Plagiarism Policy

To prevent plagiarism and ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts, all Persian-language submissions are screened for textual similarity prior to the peer-review process. Similarity checks are conducted using the IranDoc Similarity Detection System and the Samim Noor Text Similarity Detection System. Manuscripts found to contain substantial unattributed overlap with previously published works may be rejected or returned to the authors for further clarification and revision

The names and e-mail addresses of all individuals uploaded to the journal website are not available to other departments or organizations and are used exclusively for the purposes of the journal.
